Battle Pirates Cheats Guide - Facebook Games That Don't Suck

Why Battle Pirates Doesn't Suck
The first thing that differentiates Battle Pirates from the rest of the pack are the real-time battles against other players. Add to that a high level of strategy in constructing fleets, gathering resources, and researching new technologies, and you've got a game that's light years away from FarmVille.

How Does It Play?
There's not much of a story in Battle Pirates. The basic gist is that it's the future and the world is now covered by water. You are a lone pirate, battling for survival against other pirates and a fierce Draconian empire. You have an island base that you must use to produce resources, research different types of ships and weapons as well as construct your fleet. You do all of these things by building and upgrading different types of structures, like docks, shipyards, and weapons labs.

Once you have a small fleet assembled, you can explore the world around your base. The cool thing about this is that there's no energy limit, so you can sail around as long as you want. There are a number of things you can do once out in the ocean, including battling AI Draconian fleets, capturing additional resources and attacking other players or their bases. All of these battles result in more resources if you win. You can also mine additional resources from any spots you control.

What Are the Social Elements?
Honestly, there's not a lot of social stuff going on. Battle Pirates includes in-game chat, but for the most part, this is the perfect game to play if you prefer to go it alone and not spam your friends in order to get ahead in the game. If your friends are having trouble, you can send them some mercenary fleets to help them out.

What's the Payment Structure Like?
Battle Pirates uses Facebook Credits exclusively. Fifty credits will run you $5. The things you can use credits for in the game including speeding up building/upgrading/repair times and purchasing resources. The prices for these range from 1-16 credits.

What Are the Downfalls?
Right now there are very few social elements. Having the opportunity to team up with other players or form guilds in order to accomplish a common goal, would make the game much more robust. But if you prefer to play on your own, this is a great option.
